Read your owner's manual.
Honda puts special break-in formula engine oil into new engines now. You should probably not change it until 3000 miles.

I looked into selling my Accord and my Teg for a CL type S, but no 5 speed, so no sale. I do think that the TL is sharp, but for me, its gotta be a stick.
Good luck to ya.

I ended up with a 2002 TL. I am in love wit this car..it's soooo comfortable
Still in the break in period so I guess it would be good to change oil early (1000 miles?)..How about transmission? Also, how do you change transmission oil on a TL? (automatic)

time for the automatic pro. me. hahah. to change your oil u just get to the bolt towards the front passengers side under the tranny. unscrew that and let it drain. pull the tranny dipstick and put in a long tipped funnel and fill it up according to the manual.

Sorry to disappoint you guys. It's just a regular TL. It's not really the car I wanted. I planned to get an MDX but there is a waiting list (90 days?) and you pay sticker price which is about $6K mark up. I ended up with a TL..probably will drive it around for a couple of years and give this to my mother and get a MDX. The price should be a little more reasonable by then.
